Build A Well For Bono’s Birthday: A Decade Of H2OPE

The African Well Fund kicked off their 10th annual “Build A Well For Bono’s Birthday” campaign with the theme “A Decade Of H2OPE” in support of a water, sanitation and hygiene project in Burkina Faso for the schoolchildren in the region. From now until May 10 (Bono’s 52nd birthday), you can make your donation to support the campaign and sign the birthday card that will be given to Bono from the African Well Fund.

They are also encouraging supporters to share their stories from the past decade of the “Build A Well For Bono’s Birthday” campaigns. What are your birthday well memories? Have you donated every year? Did you win a photo auction? Have you bought the T-shirt each year? Send your stories to dsmith (at) africanwellfund (dot) org and they will share them throughout the fundraiser.
