K. Michelle Talks About Her Career, Dating

”I Really Do Prefer White Men”

Some reality TV stars like to pretend they don’t need reality TV, but “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star K. Michelle freely admitted in a recent interview that she was basically a nobody prior to appearing on the hit VH1 series. She also confirmed that she will be back for season 2.

“I’m doing another season of ‘Love & Hip Hop,’” she confirmed to Bossip, before adding, “After that I think I might just move to Oklahoma and sing in the closet–away from untamed humans.”

“‘Love and Hip Hop has helped me tremendously,” she admitted. “For three years, I was singing my li’l heart out and y’all was not caring. I even leaked a naked picture, and y’all still didn’t care. Everybody else was doin’ it.”

“Even though I’ve caught a lot of backlash, I wasn’t selling out shows then. Now I am,” she added. “People are knowing my music, even the old music.”

She also addressed her dating preferances, after rumors surfaced about she and Olympic gold medalist swimmer Ryan Lochte.

“Do I prefer black men or White men? At this point, I really do prefer White men,” she said. “At this point in my dating phase, men are men. All colors–whatever floats your boat. But I do like white men, I”m not gonna be ashamed of it.”
